Newcastle Strings is a small, friendly string orchestra based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. It has been in existence, under various names, since around 1930, and has access to an extensive library of music.

Newcastle Strings is a registered charity (no. 501121), and is affiliated to Making Music, the National Federation of Music Societies.

Members of the public are invited to support the orchestra by becoming Friends of Newcastle Strings. Friends pay a subscription of £20 (or more if they wish!) and in return receive two tickets for each of the two major concerts of the season.
